Once settled on our terrace, the stunning views and warm breeze of the Indian Ocean, accompanied by champagne and oysters plucked fresh from our own oyster beds, will get your honeymoon, and your new life together, off to a blissful start. Just 15 minutes from Durban’s international airport, The Oyster Box and its surrounding area play host to a diverse variety of thriving cultures and enchanting natural beauty spots. Spend your honeymoon strolling along the Umhlanga Promenade and pass local landmarks, like the famous Lighthouse and Whalebone Pier, en route to the area’s beloved beaches and serene Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve. Couples seeking an immersive cultural experience can venture inland and explore the Zulu Village or sample the cuisine cooked by the region’s large and culturally influential Indian population.
